    • Picking avatar: Players pick their avatar that will represent them throughout the event.
  • Event overview: Players arrive in the event overview section where they have access to information about the event.
    • Event description: The event description details any info that the event organizer added in the event details.

Starting event:

The event starts when the timer begins, and players click the bottom-screen button to enter into the event.

  • Game map and HUD: Players will see themselves/their teammates marked on the in-game map, and the different checkpoints that are available in their area around them. Also shown is their score, the amount of checkpoints they have collected, as well as tools to re-orient their screen.
  • Checkpoints: Players are encouraged to navigate towards the checkpoint objects on the map. When arriving near a checkpoint, players will be prompted to open it up.
  • Checkpoint description: Players are shown details about the checkpoint after opening it, including information about the activity they have to complete. They then click to start it.
    • Multiplayer: If the event is set to multiplayer players will arrive in a shared checkpoint lobby, where at least two players need to be present in order to start the checkpoint.
  • Activities: Each checkpoint contains an activity that players must complete in order to receive points for that checkpoint.
  • Score calculation: Players are rewarded points depending on their performance in terms of accuracy and speed for certain activities. Other activities give a flat score upon completion.

Completing event: Upon either completing all checkpoints or when the event timer runs out, players have a few more steps before fully completing the event.

  • Commend players: In multiplayer, players can commend fellow teammates by assigning them titles to compliment their effort during the event.
